About the exhibit: The Peterborough Museum and Archives temporary gallery is being transformed by up-and-coming museum professionals from Fleming College’s Museum Management and Curatorship program! The students’ exhibit will explore how communication has shaped Peterborough and the surrounding area by exploring different elements. Discover all the different ways we connect to one another and the wider world.
General Purpose: In addition to all the exhibit represents, it is a way to apply newly acquired knowledge from across the curriculum to this real-world project. The exhibit synthesized learning by showcasing our many skills in photography, graphic design, text writing, artifact handling, mount-making, and exhibit design.
Acknowledgements: We would like to take the opportunity to thank the people who helped make this exhibit happen. Creating Words & Beyond would not be possible without generous support from friends, family and the community.
